Resly at VRMA 2026: A Week of Insights, Connections and Nashville Hospitality

From 3–7 October, the Resly team headed to Nashville, Tennessee, for VRMA, one of the biggest events on the short-term rental calendar. With the conference taking place from 4–6 October at Music City Center, it was a valuable opportunity to connect with the global industry, explore emerging trends and see how the vacation rental landscape continues to evolve.

Connecting with the Global Vacation Rental Industry

VRMA brings together professionals, technology providers and industry leaders from across the vacation rental sector. With a packed programme of general sessions, breakout sessions and an extensive Expo Hall, the event offered plenty to explore, learn and discuss.

For Resly, it was an opportunity to look beyond our local market and see the wider industry landscape, from developments in vacation rental software and distribution to evolving approaches to revenue management and direct bookings.

Sessions focused on technology, revenue and direct booking strategies provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities shaping the industry. The Expo Hall also brought competitors, partners and emerging tools together in one place, offering a closer look at the products and services helping property managers navigate an increasingly dynamic market.

Experiences like these are an important way to stay connected to global developments, challenge existing thinking and bring fresh ideas back to the businesses we support.

Bringing People Together in Music City

While the conference delivered plenty of professional insights, the experience extended beyond the sessions and Expo Hall.

Throughout the week, we enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with the Australian and New Zealand delegates who joined us, balancing busy conference days with a taste of Nashville's famous Southern hospitality. From shared experiences to fun side events around the city, it was a chance to build connections, exchange ideas and enjoy time together outside the usual day-to-day.

Taking Ideas Home

Attending VRMA offered a valuable perspective on where the global vacation rental industry is heading. From technology and revenue strategies to distribution and direct bookings, the conversations and innovations on display highlighted the pace of change across the sector.

We've returned home with new insights, great ideas and plenty of inspiration for what's ahead. Staying engaged with the wider industry helps us continue to learn, evolve and keep the needs of our clients at the centre of what we do.

A big thank you to everyone we had the opportunity to connect with throughout the week. We're looking forward to taking these insights forward and seeing what comes next for the vacation rental industry.
