NoVacancy 2026 Recap: Connecting, Collaborating and Showcasing the Future of Hospitality

Following two exciting days at NoVacancy Expo 2026, we’re reflecting on the conversations, connections and highlights that made this year’s event a memorable one.

This year’s event was filled with thought-provoking conversations, new connections, industry insights and plenty of opportunities to showcase the technology and partnerships helping shape the future of hospitality.

We loved having the opportunity to collaborate on our shared booth with our friends at Switch Solutions and Good To Book, creating a space where hospitality professionals could connect and explore solutions designed to make their businesses run smarter.

Throughout the two days, our stand was buzzing with activity. Visitors had the chance to experience live Resly demos from our team, discover more about our platform, and chat with us about the evolving needs of accommodation providers. We also brought some fun to the booth with our “Roll a Six to Win” activation, where attendees could try their luck to win an array of prizes.

Key trends and conversations

One of the biggest themes we heard throughout NoVacancy 2026 was the continued growth and impact of artificial intelligence across the hospitality industry.

From improving operational efficiency to enhancing guest experiences, AI was a major talking point across the exhibition floor. It was exciting to hear how businesses are exploring new ways to use technology to simplify processes, make smarter decisions and deliver better experiences. Dive further into Sam’s thoughts on the use of AI at the conference, via this blog.

Connecting beyond the exhibition floor

The conversations didn’t stop at the booth. We were fortunate to be part of some fantastic networking opportunities alongside industry friends and partners.

The night before NoVacancy, we hosted a Resly x Switch Solutions networking dinner at Alegre Bar and Dining. It was a great evening bringing together industry peers, partners and friends before the event officially kicked off. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night such a memorable one.

We also had the pleasure of attending RoomPriceGenie’s “Genies on the Harbour” networking event. It was fantastic to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new ones, and celebrate the continued growth of RoomPriceGenie across APAC.

Thank you to the hospitality community

A huge thank you to the NoVacancy organisers, exhibitors, partners and everyone who visited our stand. We loved seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new members of the hospitality community and sharing ideas with an industry that continues to innovate and evolve.

Events like NoVacancy are a great reminder of the power of collaboration and connection. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

The Ongoing Importance of Personal Presence

I'm writing this after spending two days exhibiting at NoVacancy, and each year I am reminded of something that's becoming increasingly easy to overlook: there is still immense value in simply bringing people together in a room.

The Owner Relationship Is About to Change Dramatically

There's something slightly strange about how we communicate with unit owners. Someone can own an apartment worth $800,000, hand over responsibility for generating tens of thousands of dollars in annual income, and yet their main window into how that investment is performing can still be a statement arriving at the end of the month. That is going to change.
