The Role
As a QA Engineer at Resly, you’re not just testing features — you’re championing quality across the product.
You’ll work closely with Engineering and Product to ensure everything we ship is reliable, intuitive, and meets a high bar. From identifying edge cases to improving testing processes, you’ll play a key role in how we build and release software.
This role is critical to maintaining trust with our customers and ensuring a consistently high-quality experience.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Ensure releases meet quality standards before deployment
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing
- Contribute to automated testing frameworks and increase test coverage
- Identify gaps in testing and proactively improve QA processes
- Reproduce, isolate, and clearly communicate issues to support fast resolution
- Advocate for quality across the team and influence how we build and ship
What We’re Seeking
- Experience in QA, software testing, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products
- Experience with manual testing and an understanding of automated testing practices
- Ability to think critically about edge cases and failure scenarios
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain issues
- Collaborative mindset, working closely with engineers and product managers
- Experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
- Comfortable working remotely across time zones
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
- Familiarity with JavaScript-based tech stacks
- Experience testing APIs and backend systems
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Experience in SaaS products or hospitality tech
