The Role
As a QA Engineer at Resly, you will play a key role in improving the quality, reliability and confidence of everything we ship.
This is not just a “test at the end” role. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Support to understand requirements, validate workflows, identify risks early and help make sure releases are stable before they reach customers.
You will help bring more structure to how we test, release and improve the platform, while also supporting the team with clear bug reporting, regression testing and practical QA processes.
This role is critical to helping Resly scale with more confidence, fewer avoidable issues and a better experience for our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, document and track bugs through to resolution
- Test new features, fixes and product changes before release
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
- Create and execute test plans, test cases and regression checks
- Reproduce, isolate and clearly communicate issues to developers
- Validate high-impact workflows across the Resly platform
- Support release testing and help improve release confidence
- Identify gaps in current testing processes and help improve how QA is done
- Contribute to automated testing coverage where practical
- Work with Support to understand recurring customer issues and help prevent repeat problems
- Advocate for quality across the team without slowing down delivery unnecessarily
What We’re Seeking
- Experience in QA, software testing or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to quality
- Experience with manual testing and regression testing
- Understanding of automated testing practices and where they add value
- Ability to think through edge cases, user workflows and failure scenarios
- Strong written communication and clear bug documentation skills
- Comfortable working closely with developers, product managers and support teams
- Ability to balance quality, speed and business priorities
- Confident working in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment
- Comfortable working remotely and communicating clearly across teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright or Selenium
- Familiarity with JavaScript or React-based products
- Experience testing SaaS platforms, booking systems or operational software
- Experience testing APIs and backend workflows
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Experience working with bug tracking, product management or support tools
- Experience in hospitality tech, property management systems or travel platforms
