We understand that the aftermath of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred has brought immense challenges to many businesses and communities across South East Queensland. In this difficult time, we want to ensure you have access to the resources and support available to help you recover and rebuild.
Business Recovery Support
Business Queensland is offering a range of free services to assist affected businesses, including:
✔ Free mentoring for business recovery and support
✔ One-on-one small business wellness coaching to help navigate the recovery process
✔ Financial counselling for businesses experiencing or at risk of hardship
✔ Insurance claim assistance to guide you through the process after a natural disaster
Additionally, impacted businesses can complete the disaster impact survey to help Business Queensland tailor support to the needs of the community. Stay updated by following their Facebook page or visiting business.qld.gov.au.
Community Support Hubs
The Queensland Government has established 25 Community Recovery Hubs across Queensland to provide face-to-face assistance to those affected by the cyclone. These hubs offer access to Emergency Hardship Assistance grants of $180 per person and up to $900 for families of five or more.

For those unable to visit in person, you can access support via the Community Recovery Hotline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 1800 173 349 or through the Community Recovery website.
